Import help and plan requirements

You need a paid Draft Guru plan and an eligible account with your AI provider. Provider subscriptions and usage limits are separate.

Use the Assistant GM Connector in desktop Chrome for private ESPN league access. The store may still list it as ESPN Connector. Sidebar chat and visible-screen reading require version 1.1.0, whose store availability is pending. Use the web Assistant GM for draft advice now. Private ESPN access uses its ESPN connection flow; Yahoo uses account authorization, Sleeper uses a draft link, and Fantrax uses a Secret ID.

Open ChatGPT

Enable Developer modeOn the web: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings. Workspace accounts may need admin access.
Create an appIn Apps, choose Create. Name it Draft Guru and paste the address above.
Scan and allowChoose Scan Tools. Sign in with Draft Guru and review the read-only access before choosing Allow.
Save the appFinish with Create. Then select Draft Guru in a new chat.

Missing a menu or need help?

Eligible Pro accounts support read-only connections in Developer mode. Business and Enterprise/Edu access depends on workspace permissions. Setup is on the web.

1. Bring your league

Import your league from ESPN, Yahoo, Sleeper or Fantrax, or use a league you already play in on Draft Guru. Check that your roster is there before continuing.

2. Connect your AI

Paste this connector address in your AI app: https://draftguruai.com/api/mcp

ChatGPT

Enable Developer mode. On the web: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings. Workspace accounts may need admin access.
Create an app. In Apps, choose Create. Name it Draft Guru and paste the address above.
Scan and allow. Choose Scan Tools. Sign in with Draft Guru and review the read-only access before choosing Allow.
Save the app. Finish with Create. Then select Draft Guru in a new chat.

Claude

Open Connectors. Go to Customize → Connectors.
Add Draft Guru. Choose + → Add custom connector. Paste the address above, then choose Add.
Connect and allow. Choose Connect. Sign in with Draft Guru and approve the read-only access.
Enable it in a chat. Open a chat, choose + → Connectors, and turn on Draft Guru.

Free accounts can use one custom connector. Pro and Max also support connectors; Team and Enterprise may need an owner to add it first. Official Claude guide.

Gemini

Open Connected Apps. On a computer: Settings → Connected Apps. It may sit under Personal Intelligence.
Add a custom app. Under Custom apps, paste the address above.
Sign in and allow. Choose Next, sign in with Draft Guru, and approve the read-only access.
Select it in a chat. Type @ and choose Draft Guru.

Requires a personal US Google account, age 18+, English and Keep Activity on. Add the app on the web; use it on supported web or mobile accounts. Official Gemini guide.

Grok

Open Connectors. Go to grok.com/connectors.
Choose Custom. Select New Connector → Custom.
Paste the address. Use the Draft Guru address above.
Sign in and allow. Complete Sign in with Draft Guru and approve the read-only access.

Connector availability depends on your account. Business and Enterprise workspaces may need administrator setup. Official Grok guide.

3. Ask your first question

Use Draft Guru to list my leagues, then show my roster for the league I choose.

Your AI should offer your leagues and retrieve the roster you choose. If anything is missing, check your account, paid sport and imported data.

The connector reads the sports covered by your paid membership. New all-sports Pro and Elite memberships cover all six. Existing sport-specific memberships keep their original coverage. Free accounts have no connector access. Compare plans.

Read-only: make roster moves on your league platform. Disconnect in Account Settings → Your AI Assistant.
